Necro Posting
Necro posting is posting in a thread that hasn't had any replies for a certain period of time. In most threads, this is one week. In areas such as the suggestions board or recurring threads (screenshots, experiences, etc) this period is extended to two weeks. Any user that posts in a "dead" thread will get the thread locked and will receive a warning. In some situations, replies to dead threads will be allowed but only if it contributes to the discussion. An example of this is bumping a suggestion thread because you feel it should be added and have something to show. Posting in a dead suggestion thread saying the idea should not be implemented however, will get you a warning.
Quoting
Quoting should primarily be used for highlighting specific parts of someone's post, or signifying what post in the thread you are replying to. If you are quoting a post that already has a quote in it, unless the quote in the post matters you should remove the quote to prevent "pyramiding". Particularly when quoting posts with lots of text.
Pyramiding Example
yeah i dont mind a dank memeyeah i now they are greatyeah tbh amazing
Application Threads
It is required that all staff (moderators and above) give an opinion on every application, however the opinions of all members are encouraged. When stating your opinion of a person, the correct format is to state whether you support (+1), don't support (-1) or have no opinion (Neutral) on the situation and give a reason as to why you think so. You may not have two opinions (i.e. Neutral/-1). Users who give +1's, -1's and neutrals with no reason or give two opinions will have their posts edited/removed and will recieve a warning.
Ban Requests
After a ban request has been posted, users who were there to witness the situation may +1 the request and provide any extra evidence they may have. In situations such as RDM, if a user has not seen the event occur they may not +1 the request.
Respect
Global rule 1 of Decent Gaming. Treat everyone with respect. Whether they be a different race, gender or are different in any other way, discrimination is unnacceptable. Users who abuse others will recieve a warning and may have their account temporarily disabled.
Spam/Shitposting
This one is simple - don't make posts that are completely off topic to the OP, and don't make useless threads. When creating a thread with a common topic, see if there are any pre-existing threads before creating your thread. If your thread is simply commenting on something and doesn't actually require a whole thread, post it in the shoutbox.
